Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor maintains a clean and safe community for residents, family members, guests, and associates by coordinating and directing all housekeeping services. 

 

What will I do every day?

  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities 
  • Inspect associates’ work performance 
  • Schedule general cleaning before move-ins and after move-outs
  • Investigate complaints about service and equipment 
  • Arrange for services, such as painting, repair work, renovations etc.
  • Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associates
  • Remain updated in changing in OSHA laws and/or other regulations

 

What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • Bring a smile to work every day
  • Be a great team player
  • High school graduate; some college preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a supervisor and/or in a housekeeping lead role

 

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

  • Technical training or certification (e.g., National Environmental Health Association) is desirable
