The Housekeeping Supervisor maintains a clean and safe community for residents, family members, guests, and associates by coordinating and directing all housekeeping services.
What will I do every day?
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities
- Inspect associates’ work performance
- Schedule general cleaning before move-ins and after move-outs
- Investigate complaints about service and equipment
- Arrange for services, such as painting, repair work, renovations etc.
- Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associates
- Remain updated in changing in OSHA laws and/or other regulations
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Bring a smile to work every day
- Be a great team player
- High school graduate; some college preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience as a supervisor and/or in a housekeeping lead role
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Technical training or certification (e.g., National Environmental Health Association) is desirable
