The Assisted Living Director @ The Kensington manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.
This is a full-time salaried position, Monday-Friday.
Pay range: $120-135k/yr
What will I do every day?
- Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
- Determine the appropriate level of care
- Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
- Supervise and administer all resident medications
- Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
- Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
- Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
- Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing
- Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
- Hire and train care team associates
- Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
- Communicate cost changes to family members when needed
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Must possess active nurse license (RN/LVN/LPN)
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in multiple care departments
- BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields desired
- Experience working with seniors is required
Special Requirements/Certifications:
- Licensed as RN/LVN/LPN
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and with Assisted Living software programs
- CPR Certified
- First Aid Certified
- Universal Precautions trained
- Title 22 knowledge
