Situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Balfour Senior living in Longmont, CO is seeking talented and team-oriented associates.
The LPN provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service
plan and physician’s orders. Responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence
and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
SHIFT: FT Mornings 6a-6p
PAY: Ranges between $31.00-34.00hr
What will I do every day?
- Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the appropriate associate/department immediately
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assist
- Learn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
- Assesses residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs of
- Follows all environmental and safety guidelines/standards per company policy and procedure
- Identifies and recommends other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
- Documents evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
- Assesses resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plans
- Provides resident care activities under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing using current nursing standards
- Assists with Medication Management Program
- Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates and maintain appropriate documentation
- Supports ongoing associate and peer recognition and appreciation
- Support open and honest communication with and between all associates
- Work as part of the team within your department and across the community
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Look for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies on a daily basis
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately
- Adhere to all regulations, laws and Kisco standards, including the Associate Handbook
- Support continuous improvement
- Understand and support the community sales process
- Perform other related duties as required

What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program
- One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred
- Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
