Accounts Receivable Specialist - Job Summary:
At Kisco, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly customer invoices, reconciling customer discrepancies, cash application and reconciling the accounts receivable aging report each month.
Essential Job Functions:
- Generate monthly recurring invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter all customer one-time and recurring charges based on internal logs and reports
- Work with property personnel to resolve any customer billing discrepancies
- Responsible for processing and application of customer and non-customer payments
- Responsible for processing of returned deposits
- Responsible for processing customer refunds
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable aging each month
- Maintain, create and disable customer accounts in the accounting software system
- Ability to resolve customer billings issues timely and accurately with little supervision
- Provides billing support to property personnel, including training
- Performs other related duties and tasks as assigned or required
Education/Experience/Training:
- Knowledge of the accounts receivable billing and cash application cycle
- Working knowledge of excel
- Working knowledge in one or more ERP systems
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with multiple priorities
- The ability to interact well with co-workers and function in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ years of full scope accounts receivable work experience
- College degree preferred
- NetSuite experience is a plus
