Position Summary:
The Executive Director at The Carnegie leads all aspects of a senior living community, ensuring excellence in resident satisfaction, associate engagement, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. This role embodies and promotes Kisco’s culture and values, inspires a high-performing team, and delivers Forbes Five-Star service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead community operations to achieve goals in resident satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance
Foster a culture aligned with Kisco’s Principles, Values & Beliefs (PVBs) and The Art of Living Well℠
Develop and coach department leaders; hire, train, and retain top talent
Maintain high service and operational standards while ensuring regulatory compliance
Drive continuous improvement and implement company policies and procedures
Create and execute strategic business plans, manage budgets, and oversee financial performance
Support sales strategy, occupancy growth, and community outreach
Cultivate strong relationships with residents, families, associates, and external partners
Oversee vendor relationships and ensure use of Kisco’s systems and tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master’s preferred
8–10 years of leadership experience with proven results in service, finance, and team performance
Background in senior living, hospitality, or service industries preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Tech-savvy and flexible with scheduling needs
