Job Description

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of our residents, developing individualized meal plans, and ensuring compliance with all state regulations related
to dietary services in assisted living and memory care facilities.

 

Pay: $34-$37/hr

 

Availability: Part-Time | Flexible Days 

 

What will I do everyday?

 

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, considering medical
history, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans that align with residents'
health goals and dietary needs.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create nutritious and appealing menus that meet
the dietary requirements of residents.
• Compassionate approach to resident care with a focus on enhancing quality of life
through nutrition.

What will I need to be successful in this role?


• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited
institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or
memory care.
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with cognitive impairments
(preferred).

• Certification in Gerontological Nutrition (CGN) or similar credentials (preferred).

 

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

 

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic
Registration (CDR).
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Colorado.
• Knowledge of Colorado regulations regarding dietary services in assisted living facilities
