Job Description

The HR Coordinator will work closely with the Community HR leader. The HR Coordinator will provide human resources support to the HR Community leader in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, file management, learning and development, associate relations, payroll, benefits, compensation, workers’ compensation, administering policies and procedures, new associate orientation/on-boarding and HRIS.

 

Pay: $23.25/hr-$28.50/hr

 

Availability: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday


What will I do every day?

  • Support associates and managers regarding all human resources practices and programs under the supervision of the lead HR position at the Community.
  • Work with other community HR representatives, Home Office and assist the community to comply with human resources related company policies as well as all applicable federal,state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in training new managers on Recruiting process.
  • Coordinate or assist with all pre-employment screening and post-hire procedures.
  • Coordinate and support associate training programs and maintain training records.
  • Coordinate and participate in new associate orientation and on-boarding programs.
  • Build relationships with Associates and support appropriate associate termination procedures.
  • Support investigations and resolve associate grievances and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist with unemployment claims as directed by supervisor.
  • Support workers’ compensation claims as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with leaves of absence as necessary in accordance with applicable policies and laws.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and assist associates with benefits questions.
  • Assist with the communication and coordination of all associate recognition programs.
  • Support data and data accuracy in HRIS system as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with payroll process as directed by supervisor.
  • Support the management and maintenance of personnel and other associate files in accordance
    with retention policies.
  • Assist with preparation of required HR reports to the Home Office in a timely manner
  • Distribute paychecks and conduct self-audits as appropriate


What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • High school graduate and 2 years of HR experience required, Associate degree and 1 year of HR
    experience required or Bachelor degree and no HR experience require
