About the Role
The Applications & Data Developer at Kisco Senior Living supports and enhances the organization’s portfolio of business applications. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical systems while helping business leaders and associates gain insights from data and analytics. The developer collaborates across departments to ensure technology aligns with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to improve or automate systems

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise business applications

• Partner with end-users to gather needs and write functional specifications

• Support business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis initiatives

• Configure, customize, and oversee application systems

• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support

• Collaborate with vendors and consultants on development and support

• Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and quality initiatives

• Travel may be required for training, conferences, or business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of experience managing enterprise applications

• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Skilled in SQL and Microsoft Office tools

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

• PHP (or comparable), Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

• Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, query tuning)

• SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS (BI stack)

• REST API development and integration (JSON, OAuth, webhooks)

• Tools: SSMS, SSDT; basic IIS/web server configuration

• Understanding of responsive UI and accessibility best practices
