The Operations Director at Kisco Senior Living is a key member of the Operations Team, serving as an operational leader and strategic partner for assigned communities. This role ensures alignment with company goals, operational consistency, and Kisco’s Principles, Values, and Beliefs (PVBs). The Operations Director provides direct support to Executive Directors and community leaders, drives performance, and supports enterprise initiatives including acquisitions, new openings, and brand standards.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, associates, and partners.
Demonstrate professionalism, hospitality, and service excellence in all interactions.
Partner with SVP Operations and Operations Leaders to ensure timely delivery of home office and community objectives.
Provide direct support to Executive Directors, Hospitality Services Directors, and Assistant Executive Directors in operations, leadership development, and training.
Conduct community operations reviews, providing coaching, analysis, and action planning.
Support acquisitions, expansions, and integration planning.
Analyze operational and financial performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
Facilitate communication between home office and community leadership through meetings, calls, and reporting.
Assist in developing annual budgets and business plans in collaboration with community leaders.
Contribute to associate development programs such as onboarding and leadership training.
Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives to ensure effective execution.
Ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
Represent Operations in conferences, training sessions, and strategic planning.
Manage and maintain Operations documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Director or comparable senior leadership role in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare.
Proven success in managing financial performance, budgets, and operational outcomes.
Multi-site leadership and project management experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong business acumen and ability to analyze financial data.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop leaders across multiple communities.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with residents, associates, regulators, and partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration platforms.
High energy, adaptability, and professionalism in dynamic environments.
Direct supervision of 2–4 Executive Directors, with indirect oversight of broader community management teams.
