The Memory Care Activities Assistant is responsible for interaction with residents at our Senior Living Community, presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, etc.
Must be available to work weekends.

What will I do every day?

• You will assist the Memory Care Manager to present programs that meet the emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, and vocational needs of the residents
• Promote and monitor resident attendance and participation in all Wellness programs
• Teach and facilitate programs as appropriate
• Implement a variety of group and individual Wellness programs
• Work with volunteers and community groups as needed to implement various programs
• Assist in setting up/tearing down Wellness and community events as needed
• As well as perform other related duties as required

 What will I need to be successful in this role?

• Be a progressive and creative thinker
• 2 years of Senior Living experience working with Memory Care residents
• Background in different dimensions of wellness is beneficial 

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

• Senior Living experience specifically with Memory Care
