Job Description

Our Cooks @ Magnolia Glen plays an important role in creating exceptional dining experiences for residents, guests, and associates. This position prepares high-quality, flavorful meals served across multiple dining venues while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.

 

 

Schedule: Full Time 

Flexible schedule required. Hours may fluctuate based on business needs and include nights and weekends. Two days off per week. Additional details will be discussed during the interview.

 
Pay Range: $19.50-$22/hr


Paid Vacation / Sick Time /  7 Paid Holidays

What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • Bring a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of line cook experience required.
  • Previous senior living experience as a Sous Chef is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

  • Current SERVSafe Manager Certification required, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
  • Current Food Handler's Certificate preferred, if required by local regulations.
